Jackie Green: Joy Looks Good on You
Some art stops you in your tracks.
Some art makes you smile.
And some art quietly (or not so quietly) reminds you that life can be colourful, kind and full of good energy.
That’s exactly what Jackie Green’s work does - and why we’re so happy to have her pieces at Goodness Studio.
Jackie is a Mornington Peninsula–based contemporary artist whose work feels like an open invitation to feel good. Her art is playful, expressive and full of heart - the kind of work that lifts a space and your mood.
Art that feels like a mood boost
Jackie’s creative roots sit in freehand signwriting and bespoke signage, and you can feel that influence throughout her work. Typography, symbols, layered marks and expressive gestures appear like little visual conversations - bold, friendly and full of personality.
Her practice moves between two creative energies: Urban Rhythm and Coastal Contemplation - both very different, but equally joyful.
Urban Rhythm - colour, confidence & energy
Jackie’s Urban Rhythm works are bright, bold and buzzing with life. Inspired by time spent in Melbourne and travels through culture-rich cities, these pieces feel like overheard conversations, flashing neon, fashion moments and people moving through the streets.
Pastels and neons layer together. Words pop up unexpectedly. Symbols repeat and dance across the page. These are works that don’t whisper - they celebrate. They bring confidence, humour and a little bit of cheek to your walls.
The posters we’ve selected for Goodness Studio sit firmly in this joyful, expressive space - perfect for bedrooms, studios, hallways or anywhere that could use a daily reminder to feel good, back yourself and take up space.
Wearable art - joy you can put on
Jackie’s joyful energy doesn’t stop at the walls.
At Goodness Studio, we also stock a selection of Jackie Green’s wearable art - including her playful t-shirts and cosy hoodies - designed to bring the same colour, confidence and good vibes into everyday life.
These pieces take Jackie’s signature typography, symbols and affirming messages and turn them into something you can throw on and feel good in. They’re expressive without trying too hard, comfortable without being boring, and made to be lived in - whether you’re heading out or staying in.
Think of them as tiny mood boosters in clothing form.
Art you don’t just admire - you wear it.
Coastal Contemplation - a softer kind of joy
Then there’s the calm side of Jackie’s world.
Inspired by her coastal surroundings, Jackie’s Coastal Contemplation works slow things down. Muted tones, organic textures and gentle layers create pieces that feel grounding and restorative - like salty air, warm sand and quiet moments by the sea.
These works are still joyful, just in a softer way. They’re about balance, breathing out, and finding beauty in simplicity.
The joy is in the layers
One of our favourite things about Jackie’s work is what you discover over time.
Layers build like memories. Ghosted lettering appears beneath paint. Small hearts, hidden words, fragments of lyrics or personal motifs are tucked quietly into the surface. You might notice them straight away - or you might find them months later.
That’s the magic. Her work keeps giving.
